iBASEt’s manufacturing operations management software suite, Solumina, is now successfully deployed with the Electronic Systems sector of global defense, aerospace and security company BAE Systems. In use at several Electronic Systems manufacturing locations, Solumina automates the sector’s Bills of Materials (BOM) management and Engineering Change Order (ECO) management, including serialized views of work orders and multilevel hold history as well as several other production processes that span the sector’s production workflows. Earlier in the implementation, BAE Systems initiated a project to harmonize operations process management across its Electronic Systems’ manufacturing facilities, utilizing Solumina’s process planning, manufacturing, and enterprise quality management tools. The company’s Electronic Systems sector originally selected Solumina in February 2012 because of its extensive features and shop floor harmonization capabilities. “The collaboration and teamwork between BAE Systems and iBASEt continues to provide our internal teams with valuable insights, intelligence and knowledge essential to enabling change management strategies to succeed,” said Steve Rubenfeld, program

Razorleaf Corporation today announces Clover, its open integration platform, is releasing ERP connectors for SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional to SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, MAPICS/Infor and other ERP systems.  Clover will enable the passing of business and product data such as customer and supplier information, items and bills of materials, and change documents to improve productivity and enable agility through sharing accurate information.  Clover goes beyond typical middleware and ensures that contextual business processes are aligned for passing data to improve process efficiency and data integrity. "Our customers find their biggest productivity gains come from connecting business processes between ERP and Product Data Management or PLM.  Core processes like Order Management need to flow across an organization, intersecting business systems with varying data structures.  Sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing all need to have the most current information, and without process-led integration strategies, many organizations are using inaccurate data up and down the organization,"
