AVEVA announced that SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT America Latina, is deploying a fully Integrated Engineering & Design (IE&D) solution for the first time on a major capital project. AVEVA software has been used for the Design, Build and Operation of Cogeneration Ciudad Juarez, an energy generation system from biogas. Dassault Systèmes announced that its 3DEXPERIENCE platform has been selected by Aeros to aid in the design and production of its flagship Aeroscraft – the world’s first cargo airship. Aeros will use the Dassault Systèmes “Engineered to Fly” industry solution experience to design and deliver the next generation of Aeros’ airships and tethered aerostat solutions for military and commercial clients. Aeros, which plans to have its initial fleet of 66- and 250-ton cargo airships enter global operation in the coming years, selected Dassault Systèmes’ “Engineered to Fly” industry solution experience for its detail design work, including mechanical electrical and fluid systems design.  Aeros will also validate the design against requirements and performance criteria (such as manufacturability) through continuous and robust simulations. Atos and Siemens signed a six-year, multi-million Euro contract to provide a platform running in the cloud and built on the SAP HANA® platform for data services to meet Siemens’ growing business demands. The platform – based on bullion, the enterprise high-end x86 server from Bull – will be deployed on a worldwide basis to support more than 100,000 Siemens personnel across the whole Siemens Group. SAP SE announced the release of service pack 10 (SPS10) for the SAP HANA® platform, helping customers successfully extend all the key functionalities of their core business to the edge of the network where remote business transactions and events actually occur. Lectra is pleased to announce its continued support for the second year of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)'s Fashion Manufacturing Initiative (FMI). The FMI offers financial grants and support to New York City fashion companies to help grow and sustain their businesses through the acquisition of innovative equipment, advanced technology, and worker training. Dynotex, one of this year's seven grant recipients, has selected Lectra technology to strengthen its pattern-making and manufacturing capabilities.
