Trimble introduced today its Telog® 41 Series of wireless, battery-powered sensors for water monitoring applications. These new Internet of Things (IoT) sensors use innovative, low-power, Long-Range (LoRa® technology) wireless communications to remotely measure and monitor water, wastewater and groundwater systems including water pressures, flows, levels and rainfall volumes. As part of a smart water infrastructure, the Telog 41 Series wireless sensors work in combination with Telog cloud-hosted and on–premise software to allow utilities to more easily and economically deploy wireless monitoring. The sensors extend across a utilities existing monitoring programs for better tracking, measurement and reporting of water usage, sanitary and combined-sewer overflows (CSO/SSO) and flooding, leakage and non-revenue water (NRW). BIMobject AB today announces the release of BIMsupply®, a cloud-based solution that will allow BIM users to create bill of materials, tenders, bids and direct orders seamlessly within a BIM project in Autodesk Revit. The solution will allow for cloud-based sharing of the lists of products and materials with Building Product Manufacturers (BPMs) in order to get pricing, quotes or to place direct orders. The solution is the world's first O2O (Online to Offline) solution for BIM, fully integrated with Autodesk Revit, BIMobject Cloud and the recently released cloud platform Forge from Autodesk. Hi-Lex Corporation and Inceptra LLC, the largest Value Added Reseller of Dassault Systemes' (DS) 3DEXPERIENCE Solutions in North America, announced today that Hi-Lex has completed the migration of its legacy PLM database, based on Dassault Systemes' SMARTEAM software, to the new DS 3DEXPERIENCE Platform at four sites including Hi-Lex Controls, Hi-Lex America, Hi-Lex Cable Co. Ltd in the United Kingdom, and Hi-Lex Europe Gmbh in Schweinfurt, Germany. The Hi-Lex legacy ENOVIA SMARTEAM environment, which managed CATIA V5 data and other Computer-Aided Design solutions, was migrated to the new 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. The new environment now manages design and engineering data including workflow management and release approval.
