Efficiently designing and testing mechanical systems is a challenge for some engineers due to lack of smooth integration between system dynamics and finite element analysis (FEA) software domains. The Adams 2014 release addresses this issue by introducing new native nonlinear part modeling and analysis, and co-simulation between Adams and Marc nonlinear finite element analysis. The BlueCielo solution will streamline document management and control processes; enhance Management of Change (MoC) and support global collaboration between internal and external stakeholders. Star Cruises, the leading cruise line in Asia-Pacific, has selected BlueCielo Project Portal for all its new building projects. Star Cruises has placed a contract with German shipbuilder Meyer Werft for a new cruise ship. The 150,000-GT new building will have 1,680 cabins and is scheduled for delivery in fall 2016.
