Centric Software announces that tentree, the fast-growing outdoor lifestyle apparel company offering activewear for men and women, has selected Centric Small Business to support its growth strategy. Centric Small Business is a cloud-based PLM solution available on a subscription basis (SaaS) and is tailored for small businesses to speed product development, improve costs and increase market responsiveness. tentree is Centric’s first customer in Canada to adopt the Centric Small Business solution.
tentree was founded on the premise of fostering environmental stewardship, sustainability and social responsibility. For every tentree item purchased, 10 trees are planted. Today, the clothing company offers an array of products including pullovers, hoodies, yoga pants, t-shirts, tank tops and hats, and prides itself on having planted almost 8 million trees around the world from sale of these items.
tentree sought a PLM provider to support their fast-paced expansion. “tentree only started 4 years ago. With our company growing so quickly, we need support to manage complexity and to streamline our design and development process. Our product lines and our teams are growing so rapidly that we need an automated approach to be more efficient and to better collaborate across our internal, satellite and overseas offices,” explains Derrick Emsley, tentree CEO.
