Aras®, the next leader in enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, today announced that Parata Systems, the leader in pharmacy automation and medication management solutions, has selected Aras Innovator® as the PLM backbone to consolidate product development processes for their leading pill dispenser lines, Parata Mini and Parata Max. Integrating to SolidWorks CAD, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, and consolidating and replacing various other systems, Aras will be used for engineering change management, technical publications, supply chain management, quality management and customer service.
After an extensive evaluation, Parata chose Aras based on the solution’s extreme flexibility, upgradability, and bidirectional integration capabilities. Working with Aras Gold Certified Partner Razorleaf, Parata will deploy Aras in a multiphase approach, where phase one will include configuration management, change management, supply chain collaboration, and integration to CAD and ERP.
