Align Mleaders with Just a Few Clicks
Multileader objects, while useful for annotating, can be chaotic if not properly placed. Now the MLEADERALIGN command is available for users to arrange multileaders neatly and thus create an orderly drawing. There are four ways to organize them—Distribute, Parallel, specify Spacing, and Use current spacing.
Grips Facilitate Moving and Copying Groups
When selecting a group in this version, users will find a newly added grip in its center. With this grip, it is convenient to move a group by dragging the grip or copy a group by clicking the grip and inputting “Copy”. Besides, users can specify a base point other than the grip before moving or copying the group.
What’s more, GROUPDISPLAYMODE, a new system variable, makes it possible to toggle the display modes of the grips for the selected group.
WYSIWYG Plotting Effects
In this version, users can plot 3D entities in the model or layout space along with the visual style by selecting “Shaded” as the shade plot option, which can enrich the output. In this way, what users see in ZWCAD is what they will get in the plotted files, bringing all the plotting effects they want to the printed drawings.
On top of all that, there are other improvements that will make the design experience more enjoyable, such as the format painter in the MTEXT editor, CLEARCOPYMARGIN – the new system variable that clears the margins of objects to be copied, and the refactored SDI (Single Document Interface) mode which takes the compatibility and stability of ZWCAD to the next level.
