Canvas GFX Inc., the leading provider of connected knowledge solutions for the manufacturing enterprise, has announced the availability of a Japanese language edition of its Canvas Envision model-based work instructions solution for connected frontline workers.
The launch of the Japanese edition of Canvas Envision marks the first phase of a wider internationalization project that will see Canvas GFX responding to market demand for the Envision platform in a variety of languages.
The Envision platform delivers value across the manufacturing organization by connecting front-line workers to the latest design engineering and product information. Use cases include the authoring and consumption of model-based and interactive visualizations, animations, and instructional documents.
“We are delighted to be introducing our Japanese language edition of Canvas Envision,” said Patricia Hume, CEO, Canvas GFX. “While we recognize demand for additional language support we are prioritizing development based on established partnerships and defined opportunities. We look forward to announcing our first customer win in Japan in due course, and to further announcements relating to our internationalization strategy.”
Masahiko Hisatsugu, General Manager of Aras Japan, a commercial partner of Canvas GFX, commented: “Japan is home to some of the world's most advanced manufacturing companies - pioneering not only in their product development but also their adoption of cutting-edge and high-impact new technologies. We see great potential for Canvas Envision here in Japan, as manufacturers look to leverage the digital thread for collaboration, to connect frontline workers to live model-based work instructions and capture critical data from operational environments."
