ZW3D today announced the availability of ZW3D 2014 Beta. Among the numerous new features and improvements, enhanced 3D CAD modeling with an improved History Manager and convenient Part Configuration is one of the most anticipated by all the ZW3D users.
Improving Modeling Efficiency with Simplified History Manager
The ZW3D 2014 Beta carries a much more powerful and traceable History Manager to record modeling procedures. It is able to display the whole design process in a flat history tree. In this new release, operations such as attribute and layer related operations, equation and variable settings, and point cloud operations have all been removed to keep the History Manager as simple as possible. Designers can control and review their modeling procedures more efficiently with such a clearer History Manage and smoother history replay.

Increasing Productivity with the Newly-Developed Part Configuration
The ZW3D 2014 Beta is a parametric 3D CAD/CAM platform which allows users to modify the dimensions of parts and control their suppression states by using Part Configuration. Additionally, different part configurations can be set into different views of the same part for Drafting. The fresh Part Configuration tool provides designers with an easy way to group a family of parts, saving them valuable time perfecting the design instead of building redundant models to get the idea across.
