CCE, a leading provider of advanced interoperability technology and engineering services, has recently launched a group on LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network, called, "The CAD Link - Interoperability and Data Translation." This fast-growing group consists of open discussions on CAD interoperability and data translation for the purpose of networking, education, and the sharing of helpful tips.
"CAD interoperability is still relevant today, even after all these years. Companies today are still plagued by issues resulting from interoperability, as they were 25 years ago. We created this LinkedIn group as an open platform to discuss issues that are relevant to the engineering software industry, especially as it relates to CAD data interoperability. So far, the response has been great and the membership keeps growing. We are looking forward to sharing our knowledge and views of the CAD interop industry and learning from the participants," said Debankan Chattopadhyay, CCE's CAD Interoperability Business Development Manager.
Group discussions have consisted of a wide range of topics, from cloud-based software and IoT all the way to standalone CAD translation tools and more.
