Integware today announced that they have released a case study focused on the effect of global PLM implementation on one of their clients. The case study and its accompanying infographic break down the effectiveness that PLM had after it was implemented.
According to the case study, one client of Integware, a large medical device manufacturer, was able to achieve several key business metrics that contribute to increased efficiency after implementing a PLM system.
“Our client saw an immediate improvement in efficiency after implementing a basic PLM system,” said a spokesman from Integware. “The results are borne out in our infographic. They were able to consolidate their PLM systems from five to one, reduce order creation time by 75%, and perhaps most impressive of all, they were able to achieve a 100% reduction in human error related to PLM and ERP data.”
In addition to the huge reduction in error and order time creation, the client was also able to reduce the time needed to generate the DMR by 99%, effectively reducing search time from 3-5 days to as little as 2 minutes.
