Experienced PLM program manager joins CIMdata as a Senior Consultant and the organization’s Medical Device PLM Action Group lead.
ANN ARBOR, Michigan, 14 November 2018—CIMdata, Inc., the leading global Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) strategic management consulting and research firm, announces that Jon McIntosh has joined the firm as a Senior Consultant and Medical Device PLM Action Group lead.
Mr. McIntosh has over 25 years’ experience in global program delivery, industry research, and management consulting for commercial and government clients. He has served as a global program manager, chief scientist to a Department of Defense (DoD) research institution, and management consultant.

Mr. McIntosh comes to CIMdata from PTC where, as a Global Program Manager, he was responsible for large program delivery in services, consulting, and cloud delivered solutions. His background includes working with firms and organizations in the diversified manufacturing, automotive, industrial engine, medical device, software, telecommunications, energy, and US government sectors. He previously established a boutique consulting practice which became a trusted advisor to government and commercial firms’ most critical challenges.
Mr. McIntosh holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Notre Dame, a master’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Dayton, and a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Ohio Northern University. Additionally, he holds current PMP and Agile certifications, and is a current member of the FBI’s Infragard organization tasked with public / private partnership to protect the infrastructure assets of the United States. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Military Intelligence Association.
