ANN ARBOR, Michigan, 28 June 2016—CIMdata, Inc., the leading global PLM strategic management consulting and research firm, announces a new research survey on the adoption of new technologies and processes within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
In recent years, the AEC industry has adopted new technologies and processes, but has only just started to realize the benefits of adoption. CIMdata is surveying AEC practitioners, along with manufacturers and technology solution providers serving this market, to collect their views on the opportunities and obstacles they have experienced in relation to the introduction of new technology and processes.
The goal of the survey is to define opportunities for improving business results through a combination of process and technology change. Survey findings will form the basis of a report that will cover the technology and business trends in the AEC industry. Responses will be held in the strictest confidence and will not be attributed to any individual or company. Reporting metrics and analysis will be aggregated by groups.
