BETA CAE Systems S.A. announces the release of the maintenance version 15.0.2 of ANSA & µETA pre- and post- processing suite. Several problems with the previous version have been fixed while performance has been also optimized. The most noticeable issues resolved are listed below. Aspen Technology, Inc. today announced financial results for its third quarter of fiscal year 2014, ended March 31, 2014. “AspenTech delivered a strong third quarter performance that exceeded our guidance across all key metrics. Total license contract value growth year-over-year was over 13% in the third quarter as we continued to see solid customer demand and usage patterns,” said Antonio Pietri, President and Chief Executive Officer of AspenTech. On the occasion of the upcoming World Convention 2014 of the IACDE, the Human Solutions Group is organizing a visit to its headquarters in Kaiserslautern on 6 May this year. Agilent Technologies Inc. today announced its acquisition of electrothermal analysis technology from Gradient Design Automation, the maker of HeatWave electrothermal analysis software. Agilent EEsof EDA now has sole ownership of Gradient's core technology and will serve customers of both the integrated Advanced Design System software solution and Gradient's HeatWave solution. The electrothermal analysis technology allows designers to identify and correct thermal problems during integrated circuit development. "Thermal management is one of the toughest challenges facing modern IC designers," said Todd Cutler, general manager of Agilent EEsof EDA. "That's why our integrated ADS electrothermal solution was so well received by customers following its introduction and has already been adopted by several major RFIC/MMIC vendors.
