David Vredenburgh, Co-Founder & CTO, SBE Vision David Vredenburgh pioneered knowledge-based engineering (KBE) in the 1990s and has applied his 20 years of software industry experience to building the preeminent rules engine and associated semantic modeling capability for SBE Vision. During his tenure at SBE Vision, David has successfully spearheaded the Company’s product and business strategy, and led the Company from a technology concept to a sales and marketing operation delivering market leading technology to valued global customers. Prior to co-founding SBE Vision, David held pivotal technology leadership positions at leading knowledge management companies: ICAD, SEAshell, and Wisdom Systems. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at the same university.  

Fadi Ben Achour, Vice President, Strategy and Business Development,  ESI Group Fadi Ben Achour is Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for ESI Group. In this position he is responsible for leading ESI's strategy and business development for various industry segments including market assessment, solutions road map development and buy, build or partner evaluations. He also has responsibility for directing ESI’s go-to-market strategy, industry corporate messaging, and global inbound and outbound marketing activities. Prior to joining ESI Fadi served in various roles at ANSYS. Fadi holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.   

Dr. Todd McDevitt, Marketing Director, ANSYS Todd McDevitt is a Marketing Director at ANSYS, Inc. and has more than 15 years experience designing and developing commercial engineering software. His areas of expertise include nonlinear finite element analysis, multibody dynamics, embedded control systems, and model-based system engineering. At ANSYS his efforts are directed towards strategic marketing initiatives and facilitating the company’s R&D planning and decision-making. Todd received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and holds a Professional Engineering license in the State of Michigan.  

Diego Tamburini, Senior Industry Program Manager, Manufacturing, Autodesk Diego Tamburini currently works for the Manufacturing Strategic Industry Relations group at Autodesk. He focuses on defining the vision for Autodesk in manufacturing and evangelizing Autodesk as a thought leader in the industry. Diego came to Autodesk after 10 years at Microsoft, where he was working in the Microsoft Dynamics development team developing the upcoming first cloud release of Dynamics ERP for Professional Services. Prior to Microsoft Dynamics, he was in the Developer & Platform Evangelism group, where he managed a team of Developer Evangelists whose mission was to help Global ISVs in Engineering & Manufacturing align their product strategy with upcoming Microsoft technologies. Before managing this team, he was a Developer Evangelist for Engineering & Manufacturing ISVs. Matthew Loew, Technical Director , Maverick Innovation Lab Matthew Loew has a passion for building and leading high-performance engineering teams supporting new product development projects. He is active in large-scale engineering projects in transportation, defense, energy, industrial, and heavy equipment sectors. Matthew recently started Tera Development Solutions to work collaboratively with companies to solve New Product Development challenges utilizing Design Thinking, Advanced Modeling & Simulation, and Accelerated Product Development Methods. ASCON Group today reported its financial results for fiscal 2013, and released a product roadmap for 2014. 2014 is a special year for ASCON as it celebrates its 25th anniversary, and do so with outstanding financial results. In 2013, the company’s revenues reached 983 million rubles (approximately US$28 million). The company attained revenues from three sources: software developed in-house, IT-services for complex automation projects, and partner-distributed software.
