In relation to the 3D PDF display issue announced on April 17, we have released today the revised version “3D-SUITE EX11.0.3” for the 3D-SUITE EX11.0 series. Enhancement Fixed an issue where PDF files generated by the 3D-SUITE EX11.0 series (including report files such as PDQ Checker, CAD Validator and PM Checker) may not display correctly when opened in the latest versions of Acrobat and Acrobat Reader At this time, there are no plans to provide fixes for EX9.0 or earlier versions. We kindly ask customers using these versions to upgrade to EX10.0 or EX11.0. We are also preparing a tool called “Elysium 3D PDF Updater” to update 3D PDF files previously created with 3D-SUITE. Hexagon’s Production Software Division has announced the latest release of NCSIMUL, strengthening its integrated approach to NC program verification, simulation, and optimisation with a new Selective Simulation capability. NCSIMUL brings G-code verification, CNC simulation, and optimisation together in one digital twin environment. Manufacturers use it to check NC programs, improve machining efficiency, and reduce the need to prove out risky or time-consuming work on valuable machine tools. As programming and machining workflows accelerate, verification helps manufacturers increase speed without adding avoidable production risk. This is especially important in high-value machining environments, where a single program can involve many hours of machine time, multiple operations, and critical stages that need careful review.  Selective Simulation gives programmers a faster way to navigate long, complex programs. The patent-pending capability uses GPU-accelerated Rest Stock Previews to generate intermediate stock models during the NC decoding phase, creating earlier views of how the part is developing
