TUKATECH, Inc. has taken another step forward to improve the digital communication in the field of development and approvals of samples over the internet. Many suppliers and vendors are already sending digital samples for approval of the FIT and Look via e-mails with video attachments. This still lacks the precise communication or “being in the same room” experience.  Tukatech has created a Cloud Based virtual sample room to close this communication gap and further accelerate the approval process. “The CLOUD base Virtual Sample solution with the digital database ready to use again and again is a phenomenal breakthrough”, commented Mr. Ashesh Amin, Chief Operating Officer of Adrianna Papell. “What a great solution, it really brings everyone on the same page very quickly. The Tukatech team has done wonders for our business not only with varied end to end solutions but also business process reengineering. In such a short time, we make

It was announced that PipelineFX is bringing VRED batch render support to their flagship product, Qube!. With the ability to leverage real-time clusters for animation rendering, both automotive and industrial design users will experience greater efficiency while creating prototype and marketing materials. PipelineFX will be demonstrating this new technology at Autodesk University, December 2-4 in booth #78. Render times are a hurdle that has plagued designers since the advent of computer-based modeling. As the first render management software to support VRED, Qube! offers an optimized path from trusted visualization package to the final frame. With API support, users can easily write pre and post scripts that Qube! will automatically run during jobs, making it easier to build VRED support into a pre-existing design or graphics pipeline. This new capability began with an Autodesk request for VRED batch render support for two of North America’s largest auto manufacturers. Since many of PipelineFX’s automotive clients

Pointwise will host a Let's Talk Meshing interactive forum on techniques for creating structured hexahedral grids with Pointwise. The video will be available at 10 a.m. CST on 10 December and the question-and-answer session will begin at 10 a.m. the following day, 11 December. Let's Talk Meshing encourages discussion about various meshing topics through interactive forums, webinars, videos, and live events. The relative merits of hexahedral versus tetrahedral elements on cell-centered finite volume simulations will be discussed by Dr. John Rhoads, who made the meshes, with special attention given to the sources and mitigation of numerical diffusion. The basic motivation for using hexahedral cells will be explained and several topologies will be introduced that improve the resulting cell quality for realistic, irregularly shaped regions. Dr. Rhoads also will include tips for conceptualizing candidate topologies and explain several tools within Pointwise and some Glyph scripts designed to expedite the process of generating topologies in 2-D
