Due to the different interface set-ups between the mold-filling CAE software and the real-world injection molding machine, it posed a tricky challenge for CAE engineers to apply the parameter set-ups in CAE software to the actual UI set-ups in a real injection molding. Thus, this barrier might interfere with the effective communication between CAE engineers and machine operators. In addition, the dynamic response of an injection molding machine was not factored into the CAE simulation analysis, resulting in a discrepancy in simulation accuracy when comparing it with the actual molding. Thus, these two issues had been major challenges faced by many CAE engineers and machine operators in their daily work. With the latest breakthrough technology in CAE simulation, Moldex3D has successfully bridged the communication gap between simulation and manufacturing.  Moldex3D “Process Wizard” supports the properties of widely used molding machines for use in the injection molding simulation. CAE engineers can now

ANSYS simulation tools, which deliver needed accuracy and reduced turnaround time, while ensuring power integrity and electromigration (EM) reliability, have been certified by UMC 28 and 40-nanometer (nm) technologies. As the world's appetite for smart products continues to grow, 28-nanometer process technology is becoming the workhorse for most of the mobile, computing and Internet of Things applications, while 40-nanometer is becoming the lead technology for such automotive applications as microcontrollers. UMC, a leading semiconductor foundry, is actively addressing the needs of its 28- and 40-nanometer customers by delivering reliable, low power and cost-effective solutions. UMC's certification of ANSYS®RedHawk™ and ANSYS Totem™ includes static and dynamic voltage drop analysis and signal and power EM verification with accuracy correlation and circuit resistance validation for poly-SiON, High-K/Metal Gate (HKMG) and mixed-signal RFCMOS technologies as per UMC's requirements. These process technologies are typically used for designing chips serving mobile, computing, IoT, automotive and other applications. "By working

Infor today announced that construction and home decoration leader Fetim Group has chosen to migrate its complete Infor M3 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application to the cloud. In addition, Fetim will use Infor ION™ to help integrate a range of third-party, best of breed applications, all of which will be deployed in the cloud. The home furnishing market has seen radical change in the past five years. An increase in online shopping, combined with globalization, has dramatically reduced the position of the retailers that were once Fetim's core market, whilst opening up substantial opportunities for direct sales. Fetim is moving its applications to the cloud to help equip it with the agility to respond to these changes. Fetim also took the decision to move to the cloud version of Infor M3 following a period of international acquisitions that resulted in large fluctuations in the number of users and IT resources required. As a growing company, Fetim
