CIMdata’s Industry Practice Managers lead the development and delivery of CIMdata’s consulting offerings for industrial clients within a target market and provide marketing support for lead generation and sales support for business development within the target industry.
Primary Responsibilities
Practice development
- Manage development of a “Win Theme” campaign for the target market in collaboration with CIMdata sales and marketing leadership
- Plan and conduct “Thought leadership” research specific to the target industry
- Refine CIMdata product offerings for application within the target industry
Marketing support
- Develop marketing collateral appropriate to the target industry
- Participate in target industry interest groups, including: social media outlets, blogs, and appropriate target industry events
Sales support
- Develop strategy and content for presentations to prospects
- Assist with preparation for and participation in prospect calls
- Draft proposals and assist with follow up calls
Delivery
- Provide training and consulting service engagements to clients within the target industry
- Assist with the identification and training of additional delivery resources
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
Travel 30 to 50%
Professional Experience
- 15+ years total experience
- 5+ years experience with a consulting firm or equivalent industry experience
- Knowledge of PLM industry
- Proven project management skills
- Strong industry vertical expertise in target industry
