On December 18th, Materialise NV celebrated officially establishing  Materialise Shanghai Co. Ltd. and opening its new office in Shanghai’s Baoshan District. Materialise has been active in China since 2005 and, by officially registering as a company, it is now entirely dedicated to the Chinese market with a 3D printing software and R&D. GRAPHISOFT® has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with buildingSMART Korea, to assist in the development of the “Open BIM-based Building Design Standard and IT-Infrastructure Construction” efforts in Korea. The agreement between the parties covers areas including technical collaboration, collaboration on developing and disseminating the Korean BIM standard, and technical support for ArchiCAD users in Korea. As part of the agreement, GRAPHISOFT and buildingSMART Korea will discuss and exchange technical information and advice relevant to the development of ArchiCAD library objects for Korea. With the release of Altium Designer 15, Altium commits to delivering Product Updates and Maintenance Updates to the current release and Maintenance Updates to previous releases. Finnish multidisciplinary engineering and information management company Citec has announced its expansion of Intergraph SmartPlant® Enterprise throughout several projects and regions. The decision was in response to client demand and is expected to further increase Citec’s reach and accessibility to other potential clients preferably implementing Intergraph SmartPlant Enterprise solutions. The multi-year agreement will see Citec expand their current license agreements and purchase additional software licenses for upcoming, client-based projects. Infor announced on its quarterly Lender Update Friday, December 12, that fiscal 2015 Q2 software license fees and subscriptions revenue increased 15 percent at actual currency rates and 17 percent in constant currency1 compared to its fiscal 2014 recast Q2.  Non-GAAP Q2 license fees and subscription revenue2 increased 14 percent at actual currency rates and 16 percent in constant currency driven by strong license sales and continued momentum in software-as-a-service (SaaS), including triple digit growth in SaaS subscription license bookings. The strong Q2 growth was delivered with operating income margins and Adjusted EBITDA profit margins3 of 17 percent and 28 percent, respectively. Infor added 764 new customers in the quarter. Year-to-date, software license fees and subscriptions revenue and non-GAAP software license fees and subscriptions revenue increased 19 percent and 18 percent, respectively, and cloud bookings have increased over 200 percent. The project was presented with the CATRENE (http://www.catrene.org/) Innovation Award for “Most Innovative Project in 2014” at the European Nanoelectronics Forum 2014 (http://www.nanoelectronicsforum.org/), held last month in Cannes, France.
