Stratasys Ltd. announced the addition of Senior Vice President of Global Operations, Jerome Hamilton. Hamilton comes to Stratasys from 3M, a global company with $30 billion in revenue. Since 2012, Hamilton served as Vice President of Lean Six Sigma Operations, Corporate Quality and Acquisition Integration. He had a significant role in devising strategy and operation plans for 3M's Industrial Business Group, its largest business group. Hamilton also successfully led the Masking and Surface Protection Business with full P&L responsibility. Prior to joining 3M, Hamilton held top operations positions at Ford Motor Co., including Plant Manager, where he reversed declining productivity at one facility, making it the top-ranked plant among 20 Ford plants. Creaform announced that it will be bolstering its presence in South Korea thanks to the facilities of its parent company, AMETEK Inc. These new offices, strategically located in the Suwon area, will enable customers and distributors in the region, particularly Nawoo Tech Ltd., to have a broader access to Creaform products as well as extend its local services in sales, application engineering, and technical support. 3D Systems announced its role as a key partner in the 2015 Science in 3D Festival organized by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Revenue for the three months ended November 30, 2014 was approximately $1.03 million as compared to approximately $1.41 million for the same period in the prior fiscal year. The net loss for the current quarter was approximately ($379,000) or ($.44) per share compared to net income of approximately $514,000 or $.59 per share for the same period in the prior fiscal year. The prior year included a one-time gain from the sale of the CADRA product line of $649,000. EBITDA for current quarter was approximately $(139,000) as compared to approximately $3,920,000 for the same period in fiscal year 2014. Nearly all of the EBITDA in the prior fiscal year was generated from the sale of the CADRA product line. TraceParts has announced a sharp increase in the amount of traffic generated in 2014 by its free library TracePartsOnline.net, which boasts over two million registered design professionals. TraceParts launched the TracePartsOnline.net website in 2001, giving millions of designers a gateway to a wealth of technical data on industrial parts and the possibility to freely download CAD models selected for their design projects. With downloads up more than 20% in 2014, TracePartsOnline.net delivered over 50 million CAD models. This increase confirms the growing appetite among engineers and design professionals for downloading parts’ CAD files.
