At EASTEC 2015 the latest version of VERICUT, V7.3, will be featured in CGTech’s booth: 5344. VERICUT CNC machine simulation, verification and optimization software simulates all types of CNC machining. It operates independently, but can also be integrated with leading CAM systems. A common feature of all recent releases of the software has been the focus on full integration with the CAD/CAM and machine tool industry. As a result VERICUT is now at the heart of the CNC manufacturing process. Machine simulation with VERICUT detects collisions and near-misses between all machine tool components such as axis slides, heads, turrets, rotary tables, spindles, tool changers, fixtures, workpieces, cutting tools, and other user-defined objects. Machine movements can even be simulated while stepping or playing backwards in VERlCUT‘s Review Mode. With VERICUT Reviewer, shop floor personnel, suppliers, customers, and other production engineers can view animations of the CNC machining process. It is a stand-alone viewer that

ESI Group to Acquire CIVITEC

Alain de Rouvray, ESI Group’s Chairman and CEO states: “This new expertise of assistance to human perception, coupled with the excellent IFSTTAR partnership, provides opportunity to take into account the interactions of a vehicle, or any other industrial product, with its scalable immersive environment. Once integrated into digital 3D modeling, it will enable dramatically accelerated design and prototyping of embedded control and security systems and thereby strengthen the value of our global solutions in virtual prototyping. For ESI Group’s industrial partners, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) present a major technological challenge as efficiency must be built upon the quality of interaction between digital modeling and human perception. The growing requirements in terms of active safety make it important and urgent to integrate ADAS systems in virtual prototyping, complementing the existing constraints of passive safety during product development. Clearly strategic for ESI Group, this operation amplifies our technological and commercial synergies

CADENAS presents the newest version 3.3 of its 3D CAD download portal PARTcommunity. New features, like a faster search for 3D CAD models or the option to place several components in the shopping cart at the same time, significantly increasing the operating ease for the user. Besides an improvement of search engines, data security is also further increased: passwords of new PARTcommunity users now have to comply with higher minimum requirements. Get your desired CAD model even easier One of the essential improvements of the PARTcommunity Version 3.3 are the revised search features. In the first step of the search, only the 20 most relevant search results are displayed. This improves the required time for a 3D CAD model search decisively, so that the results are listed within one to two seconds. If further search results are desired, they can be displayed afterwards by clicking the button “Show more results“. Also registering for the 3D CAD
