Autodesk, Inc. today announced that Qatar Rail has awarded a Building Information Modeling (BIM) services contract to the company in Qatar. Autodesk will provide BIM implementation, consultancy and advisory services to Qatar Rail towards the construction of a modern integrated railway network in the country. This agreement was formalized at a signing ceremony in Doha attended by Eng. In the fiscal quarter ended Jan. 31, Autodesk, Inc. closed dozens of new and expanded deals in the architecture, engineering, construction and infrastructure industries. Oracle Corporation announced that fiscal 2014 Q3 total revenues were up 4% to $9.3 billion. New software licenses and cloud software subscriptions revenues were up 4% to $2.4 billion. Software license updates and product support revenues were up 5% to $4.6 billion. Hardware systems products revenues were up 8% to $725 million. GAAP operating income was up 7% to $3.6 billion and the GAAP operating margin was 38%. Non-GAAP operating income was up 5% to $4.4 billion, and the non-GAAP operating margin was 47%. GAAP net income was up 2% to $2.6 billion, while non-GAAP net income was unchanged at $3.1 billion. GAAP earnings per share were up 8% to $0.56, while non-GAAP earnings per share were up 5% to $0.68.
