TerraXML announces the sale of its PTC Arbortext services business unit to EAC Product Development Solutions (EAC). The business unit was tasked with customization and support of Arbortext implementations for organizations integrating dynamic authoring and publishing solutions to help create and manage technical information. Historically, TerraXML and EAC have worked closely on projects requiring Arbortext publishing support. The acquisition of the TerraXML Arbortext services business unit enables EAC to perform this work independently, while maintaining a close partnership where TerraXML can now in turn rely on EAC for supporting future Arbortext deployments. Dassault Systèmes announces the extension of the tender offer by its wholly owned indirect subsidiary, 3DS Acquisition Corp., to purchase all outstanding shares of Accelrys, Inc. Chris Wolfe, Lead Product Manager, ANSYS Chris Wolfe has been with ANSYS, Inc. for nearly 12 years and is currently a lead product manager focusing on multiphysics simulation. After spending almost nine years with fluid dynamics as the Fluent product manager at ANSYS, Chris went on to broaden her horizons to include structural mechanics and electromagnetics and the interactions between these physics. Before product management, she helped ANSYS’ customers to be successful with the software as a technical support engineer.
