Mr. Chandrashekhar Vasant Joshi has 18 years of experience in the area of Knowledge-Based Engineering and Digital Product Development Systems with the responsibility for the implementation of methods, tools, and processes in an integrated PLM environment.
His major work includes implementation of key initiatives in areas of KBE Kernal development, interface library development involving products like CAD/Geometry toolkits, JTOpen, framework development, software configuration and deployment, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). He is also responsible for the CAD Integration and JT Based Visualization Tools & Processes of PLM implementation at Tata Motors Limited. His JT-based work includes development of translators, implementation of JT across agencies with “3D for ALL” initiative, implementation of DMU processes and VisAutomation Tools along with development related to “Adding behavior to DMU.”
Mr. Joshi has represented the organization at the JTOpen Conference and other workgroups. He has also published and presented technical work in areas of KBE-CAD integration and visualization at various national and international forums.
Mr. Joshi holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Technology, with a specialization in Design Engineering, from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
