Do any of the following statements sound familiar?
  • We are limping along with remote access to our PLM solution.
  • What should we do so we can minimize PLM solution problems when another disruption happens?
  • We lack the staff to implement change.
  • We lack the capital needed to improve solutions and processes.
  • We are laying off staff and our budget has been cut, so how do we meet our customer expectations?
  • We are eliminating sites. How do we consolidate the different data and processes?

2020 has been a challenging year so far. The immediate impact of the pandemic was to shutdown non-essential businesses and to require workers who didn’t have to be onsite to work from home. While there are always people, process, and technology challenges within product lifecycle related activities, the disruption caused by the COVID-19 shutdown was extreme in many cases.

Many analysts, including CIMdata, have predicted this will give digitalization and digital transformation a higher priority due to its ability to support remote work and enable other forms of flexibility to minimize the impact of workplace disruptions. British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, is often credited as saying, “never let a good crisis go to waste.” In this webinar, CIMdata will discuss what we’ve heard from solution providers and industrial companies on some of the issues they’ve had to address and what they are doing to move forward. We will also discuss how to use the crisis to get support for PLM-related changes from executives.

What will I learn?
  • You will learn strategies for success when disruption happens.
  • You will learn how industrial companies have been impacted by remote working and what are they doing to mitigate the issues.
  • You will hear about the changes solution providers are making to address remote work.
  • You will learn more about the expected changes in PLM enabling technology over the next 1- to 3-years.
  • You will learn some tactics for not letting a crisis go to waste and getting support for needed change.
Who should attend?

Executives, directors, and managers responsible for product development, manufacturing, quality, and service. PLM team leaders, PLM team members, product managers, IT leadership & staff, solution providers, or anyone else who wants to learn about how to manage PLM when a disruption happens.

During the webinar you’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions about the topics discussed.
