Massimiliano (Max) Moruzzi has an extensive 15+ year career in Designing Advanced Software Applications for Manufacturing Process Automation with a deep experience in the Business-Technology interface and capacity to identify and align emerging technology needs with products and services. He joined Autodesk from Magestic Systems Inc., where he was the Director of Business Development with responsibilities for: identifying revenue opportunities with both existing and new clients, structuring strategic proposals with key customers, establishing OEM agreements with machine vendors, increasing market footprint, leveraging existing and new resellers, launching Educational License for Universities and Composite Center of Excellence, introducing new products to address emerging technologies for manufacturing processes, negotiating business terms and conditions, and closing transactions.
Max started his career as a Math teacher for undergraduate schools and as a consultant for Aerospace & Automotive companies (Agusta Westland, Alenia, Lamborghini…). In 2002, Max moved with his family to Illinois, working for Ingersoll Machine Tools as Director of Composite Software and Applications engineering, designing the first CAD embedded Software Simulator for composite material layup using robotics systems and Advanced CNC Machine for Automated Composite Material Layup (additive manufacturing).
His international experience includes major programs such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Airbus A350, Lockheed JSF, and GE Aviation.
Max is a Dr. of Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan (Italy). He is very passionate about mathematics, enjoys playing soccer and following F1 races.
