Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division announced it has selected the Greater Toronto Area for the site of its new Canadian headquarters in Oakville, Ontario. The interior of the new 15,000 sq. ft. facility is currently under construction and will house up to 100 employees. The project is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The software development team worked on the optimization of the Distributed Model code, leading to significant results in computation performance improvements. Of course, it is important to note that performance will depend on the specifics of each simulation, but in some cases, an x2 speed up has been observed.
