ANSYS announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire OPTIS, a premier provider of software for scientific simulation of light, human vision and physics-based visualization. The acquisition of OPTIS will extend ANSYS' industry-leading multiphysics-based portfolio into the increasingly important area of optical simulation. Oracle unveiled its new Austin, Texas campus as a sales innovation customer experience hub to support increasing demand for Oracle Cloud and attract top talent to service the business.
