Trimble introduced today the new Trimble® X12 scanning system to the geospatial scanning portfolio. The X12 integrates intuitive Trimble software for precise data capture and in-field registration with state-of-the-art 3D laser scanning and imaging hardware technology from Zoller+Fröhlich (Z+F), combining the expertise of two industry leaders into a single solution.  The Trimble X12 can be operated by using Trimble Perspective field software installed on a Trimble T10x tablet to enable registration and refinement of scans in the field, ensuring project accuracy and completion before leaving the jobsite. Users can also leverage Trimble’s customized on-board software menu to configure and operate the scanner. Data is exported from the field and processed in the office with Trimble RealWorks™ software or third-party software. Oracle announced the next generation of Oracle Fusion Sales, a sales automation application that identifies high-quality sales opportunities and guides sellers to close deals faster. Part of Oracle Fusion Cloud Customer Experience (CX) and powered by artificial intelligence (AI), Fusion Sales automatically provides sellers with quotes, proposals, and recommended steps to help them increase productivity, close more deals, and instill confidence among buyers. Nearly one third of sellers struggle to close deals and meet quotas, according to a recent study conducted by CRM analyst firm Beagle Research Group in partnership with Oracle. The study, “Does Your CRM Leave Money on the Table,” highlights the struggles that sellers face with customer churn and archaic sales processes. Cadence Design Systems, Inc. announced results for the second quarter of 2022. Cadence reported second quarter 2022 revenue of $858 million, compared to revenue of $728 million for the same period in 2021. On a GAAP basis, Cadence achieved operating margin of 33 percent and recognized net income of $187 million, or $0.68 per share on a diluted basis, in the second quarter of 2022, compared to operating margin of 25 percent and net income of $156 million, or $0.56 per share on a diluted basis, for the same period in 2021.
