Matt Heying serves as VP of Product at Vertex Software, a 3D cloud-native visualization platform that allows manufacturing companies to build and deploy real-time, highly performant, scalable 3D digital twin apps. In this role, Matt oversees the creation and implementation of initiatives on new markets and products. His goal is to ensure new product capabilities match customer expectations and needs.
Matt received Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University. Matt’s graduate work at the Virtual Reality Applications Center (VRAC) was sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the Office of Naval Research, and DARPA. His research focused on 3D visualization and machine learning for mechanical and materials design applications.
