SAP today announced that Camelot Innovative Technologies Lab (Camelot ITLab) has joined the SAP Leonardo Partner Medallion Initiative.

Under the initiative, Camelot ITLab develops and delivers new industry innovation accelerators, such as its Blockchain Accelerator for Mobile Device Management, based on SAP Leonardo technologies.

The SAP Leonardo Partner Medallion Initiative expands the number of solutions and enablement resources available to organizations seeking to innovate with SAP-certified technology from a global network of trusted providers.

The Camelot Blockchain Accelerator for Mobile Device Management is an example of the more than 30 industry innovation accelerators that have been developed and delivered by participants in the SAP Leonardo Partner Medallion Initiative. Designed for the telecommunications industry, it features a blockchain-based list of mobile phone serial numbers and their owners, which is accessible to all operators, smart phone producers and end customers and can be used to blacklist lost or stolen mobile devices. If one of the operators blacklists a serial number, the information is shared with all participants of the blockchain network, safely and in real time. As a consequence, the device can no longer be used with the SIM card of another provider.
