TerraXML announces the sale of its PTC Arbortext services business unit to EAC Product Development Solutions (EAC). The business unit was tasked with customization and support of Arbortext implementations for organizations integrating dynamic authoring and publishing solutions to help create and manage technical information.
Historically, TerraXML and EAC have worked closely on projects requiring Arbortext publishing support. The acquisition of the TerraXML Arbortext services business unit enables EAC to perform this work independently, while maintaining a close partnership where TerraXML can now in turn rely on EAC for supporting future Arbortext deployments.
Bob Aidun, CEO of TerraXML noted, "The rapid expansion of TerraXML, as well as Service Lifecycle Management and Internet of Things markets, called for a strategic shift on how we focus our resources. In selling our Arbortext services business unit we can do just that. Importantly, TerraXML remains an active value added reseller in the PTC channel program, and we will continue to offer PTC Arbortext and PTC Windchill software in response to customer needs."

The challenge is that strong growth requires supporting resources to be expanded in parallel.
