Infor Japan KK, the Japanese subsidiary of Infor, announced the appointment of Mitsukuni Iio, an IT industry veteran, as its president. Based in Tokyo, Iio will be responsible for Infor’s business and operations across Japan.
Japan is a growth market for Infor with immense potential,” said Helen Masters, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Asia-Pacific. “I am confident that with Mitsukuni Iio’s commitment, coupled with 20 years of experience in the IT industry and a proven track record, he will be an asset to both our Japan business as well as to customers, helping Japanese organizations migrate their businesses to the cloud and transforming their organizations digitally.”

Prior to his current position, Iio worked at Teradata Japan as Executive Officer and Senior Solution Sales Director in the Industrial and Service Solution Division, where his mandate was on expanding new businesses, AI / Deep Learning and Hadoop consulting. Prior to Teradata, he worked at Oracle Corporation Japan as Vice President, mainly for the Systems Business Division, aggressively collaborating with other lines of business including Database, Middleware, Cloud/Application, and consulting group to support their business. Before these roles, he held positions at Lenovo Japan, EMC Japan, and other organizations, supporting market expansions and digitalization in Japan, for more than 20 years altogether.
Iio holds a bachelor degree of Finance in Business Administration, Mesa State College, Colorado U.S.A.
Shinya Miura, current president, will be vice president and executive officer, as sales director on November 1, 2018, and will lead the sales team.
