Lvchi auto, a Shanghai-based automaker, has signed a strategic partnership with Siemens PLM Software Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Siemens. Four vice executive presidents from Lvchi and Dave Lauzun, strategy vice president of vehicle and railway transportation division and Cai Saohua, director of China auto team of Siemens PLM Software attended the agreement signing ceremony.
After the deal, Lvchi auto will be able to start using the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform, a Siemens PLM Software, in December this year. The former will realize its product lifecycle management and turn itself into digital enterprise in real sense by launching, expanding value and deepening business of PLM.
As cooperation grows stronger, Siemens will support Lvchi in product design, production planning and engineering, digital construction R&D, engineering design of new energy power and vehicle production.
Ren Yahui, one of vice presidents of Lvchi auto, expressed his trust on Siemens’s MOM digital manufacturing and operation, the development of BMS battery pack management system and autonomous electric vehicles research and testing. He proposes that ties with Siemens will cover more fields in the future, like manufacturing management and driverless vehicle technology.
