Bentley is pleased to announce MicroStation V8i SELECTseries 10 (SS10). MicroStation V8i SS10 provides new flexibility for organizations that require Windows 10 Readiness and privacy and security compliance while they sequence their upgrade to the CONNECT Edition.
MicroStation V8i SS10 is a simple and transparent installation for MicroStation V8iusers with no file format change with complete fidelity of existing workspaces and MDL customizations. MicroStation V8i SS10 consolidates all enhancements and updates of previous SELECTseries releases and offers an extended support period for V8i users:
- Full Support will be provided until January 1, 2020.
- Expiring Support will be provided until January 1, 2021.
MicroStation V8i SS10 Windows also uses Bentley’s Subscription Entitlement Service, Bentley’s next generation subscription management system, providing administrators with user-based entitlement management, license threshold notifications, usage analytics, and more.
We recommend that your organization installs the latest version of MicroStation CONNECT Edition. But, if your organization needs more time to sequence your CONNECT Edition upgrade, MicroStation V8i SS10 provides additional flexibility and ensures you can continue to use supported software.
