BOXX Technologies, innovator of high-performance computer workstations and rendering systems, today announced that its multi-GPU 3DBOXX 8950 workstation, featuring five NVIDIA professional graphics cards, will power Dassault Systèmes CATIA demonstrations in BOXX booth #206 at the COE 2014 Annual PLM Conference & TechniFair, April 27-28, in Anaheim, Calif. For over thirty years, COE (formerly the CATIA Operators Exchange) has been the only international, professional organization uniting Dassault Systèmes users and assisting them with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) through education, training, networking opportunities, and more. BOXX also announced that their flagship workstation, the 3DBOXX 4150 XTREME will be on hand for CATIA demos while six additional 4150XT systems will be employed in the COE certification lab.

The CATIA-certified 3DBOXX 8950, optimized for advanced multi-card configurations, features liquid cooling and dual Intel® Xeon® E5-2600v2 series processors (24 cores) along with a single Quadro K2000 GPU and four additional Tesla K20 graphics cards. This demonstration model is configured for optimal CATIA performance, but BOXX also offers a broad range of 8950 configuration options designed to eliminate bottlenecks and accelerate the most complex visualization, simulation, and computation workflows within any industry.
Joining the 8950 is the CATIA-certified 3DBOXX 4150 XTREME, a compact, affordable workstation featuring liquid cooling, an NVIDIA Quadro K6000 GPU, and a safely overclocked Intel® Core™ i7 processor running at 4.3GHz.
