ZWSim-EM 2019, a 3D full-wave electromagnetic simulator, has been officially released by ZWSOFT. With high precision, high efficiency, low memory footprint and powerful modeling capabilities, it is committed to providing users with an industry-specific, RF-related and all-in-one simulation solution.

Playing an important role in industries like communication, biomedical and security, ZWSim-EM can be used to simulate antennas, microwave circuits and devices, such as couplers, filters and power dividers.

Leading Solver

For simulation software, accuracy and efficiency are users’ main concerns. ZWSim-EM adopts Embedded Integral Technique (EIT), which is a self-developed and leading technique based on Finite-Different Time-Domain (FDTD). Together with a series of advanced technologies such as upgraded conformal technology, irregular grid processing technology and leading model discreteness, the solver will bring accurate simulation results quickly.

Easy-to-Use

ZWSim-EM is easy-to-use with a minimum set of parameters, friendly user interface and clear workflow. The user interface can be customized according to user habits. Moreover, the simulation process is consistent with the design of user interface, enabling users to set the entire simulation process from top to bottom in Navigation Tree, or from left to right in Ribbon Menu.

Powerful 3D Modeling

Leveraging ZW3D’s powerful modeling capabilities like parametric modeling, ZWSim-EM enables you to build and edit models directly in it to improve modeling efficiency and facilitate later parameter sweep and optimization. Also, it’s compatible with over 20 mainstream CAD formats such as .sat, .stp and .igs. to help import and export different CAD files easily.

Advanced Pre- and Post-processing

Its preparation process is clear, convenient and complete, ensuring that your simulation runs smoothly and your results are displayed correctly. What’s more, the 1D, Far-Field and E/H Field Results can be shown intuitively and multi-dimensionally. Also, the results can be imported, exported, mathematically processed and tracked.

ZWSim-EM is ZWSOFT’s first CAE software for electromagnetic analysis, representing a big step of ZWSOFT’s all-in-one CAx blueprint.
