The agenda is taking shape for the 6th biennial ESTECO Users' Meeting North America (UM19), scheduled for October 29th-30th, 2019 at the Inn at St. John's, in Plymouth, Michigan.
Every two years, the ESTECO Users’ Meeting North America hosts over 100 modeFRONTIER and VOLTA enthusiasts including representatives of leading engineering organizations like Cummins, Ford, Honda, Toyota, and Whirlpool.
On October 29th, a rich agenda of presentations from industry and academic experts will outline advanced application scenarios and success stories featuring ESTECO technology. This year’s confirmed speakers include representatives of Ford Motor Company, Whirlpool Corporation, Cummins, Inc, and BAE Systems.
Wayne Eckerle, Vice President of Global Research and Technology at Cummins Inc, will give the keynote talk titled "Fueling the Future".
Bill Dowling of Ford Motor Company’s Vehicle Architecture team will talk about “Vehicle Architecture and Attribute Trade Space Analysis”, while Greg Garstecki (Senior Manager of the Laundry CAE Group at Whirlpool Corp), together with Rogerio Rodrigues (Lead Engineer of the Refrigeration CAE group at Whirlpool), will present "How to Improve the Accuracy Assessment of our Model Predictions".
On October 30th, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in free training courses, get hands-on experience with ESTECO technology and learn about the latest features and advancements.
With these and more agenda announcements coming over the next few weeks, UM19 will provide a unique forum for sharing insights about the latest methods and techniques for advancing product innovation through simulation data management and design optimization.
