Mtorres selects with SteepGraph to move their legacy data from SmarTeam to the 3DEXPERIENCE 2021x platform. Additionally, data from an ENOVIA 2017x instance to the new platform. SteepGraph will also implement a UPS/model-based approach in 3DEXPERIENCE 2021x to help their CAD users. Mtorres selected Steepgraph based on their strong track record of successful migration projects.
The vision with this transformation program is to leverage the full capabilities of the 3DEXPERIENCE 2021x platform enabling Mtorres to achieve:
- A single source of truth for CAD data
- View multi-CAD structures on a common platform
- Have synchronized data management between the legacy and enterprise systems
SteepGraph will use its consulting skills and proven migration tools including the 3DX-ETL Data Migration Framework to execute the data migration and transformation project. SteepGraph plans to complete this complex transition which includes an upgrade to the latest version of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, Migration of SmarTeam data and integration with enterprise systems in 6 months. The driving factors that make this aggressive plan possible are their ready-to-use products 3DX- ETL Migration Framework for the SmarTeam data migration and the 3DX Upgrade Toolkit for transitioning to UPS which supports multi-CAD visualization.
