ROHM Co., Ltd. has completed the donation of the research facility and equipment for "Cancer Treatment Research", to Kyoto Prefecture.
This research facility has been established within Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine and named the "Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine ROHM BNCT Center". This facility will be used for research on BNCT* (Boron Neutron Capture Therapy), a next-generation cancer treatment.
Kyoto Prefecture is promoting integrated medical care provision and advanced cancer treatment research from cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment, and we hope that this center will contribute to these efforts.
