EON Reality, the global leader in Augmented and Virtual Reality-based knowledge and skills transfer for industry and education, announces a new partnership with University of Nigeria to bring a knowledge metaverse hub to its Lion Science Park Health Hub in Nsukka, Nigeria.
As one of the largest and most respected universities in all of Africa, University of Nigeria fits into EON Reality’s mission of both educating students as well as upskilling and training the next generation of workers. The university will look to build off of the success EON Reality has already seen throughout Africa, while also carving out a distinct niche for themselves within the larger picture of the knowledge metaverse.

University of Nigeria is EON Reality’s latest stop in bringing the knowledge metaverse around the world. The global knowledge metaverse project is dedicated to bringing world-class immersive learning experiences and content to users regardless of location or economic status, while also allowing those same users to create and contribute their own areas of expertise back into the knowledge metaverse to share. While the initial partnership will focus on providing EON-XR solutions for students and faculty to introduce them to the knowledge metaverse, the hope is for the university to become one of the top contributors as well — creating and deploying specific lessons and experiences that University of Nigeria students and professors specialize in.
The New Lion Science Park Health Hub is a major undertaking by the University of Nigeria, as they look to provide additional resources to their students and faculty members within the health sciences. It’s an innovative initiative aimed at stimulating and facilitating the students towards solving important health issues that affect students and society at large.
