Hexagon AB, a global leader in digital reality solutions combining sensor, software and autonomous technologies, announced the acquisition of Vero Solutions, an Italian distributor of Hexagon’s VISI CAD CAM software for the mould and die industry. VISI is a dedicated solution for toolmakers and offers a unique combination of applications including surface and solid modelling, and comprehensive 2D, 3D and 5D machining strategies.
Founded in 2012, Vero Solutions is the largest reseller of Hexagon products in the Italian market, supporting VISI customers across the territory with sales and services as well as offering the complementary PEPS and MACHINING STRATEGIST solutions. Headquartered in Strambino and with an additional office in Marcon, the business employs 18 people, who will continue to support Hexagon’s production software portfolio in central Europe as part of the company’s direct organisation.

Vero Solutions will be consolidated within Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division. The acquisition has no significant impact on the results of Hexagon.
