Qinhai (Shanghai) Food Co., Ltd., the plant-based food company, has selected Centric Software’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution. Founded in 2020, Qinhai (Shanghai) Food Co., Ltd. is a market leader in the Chinese food industry that specializes in the development, production and retail of plant-based products that meet high customer expectations in terms of raw materials, process and quality.
Qinhai Food offers a wide range of products, and recognized the need to establish standardized and centralized systems for managing product data and R&D. They selected Centric Food and Beverage PLM to build a digital platform for product development and management.

The primary goals of the PLM project are to ensure data standardization, collect basic data, identify and streamline R&D processes and also to set up project management models. Qinhai Food plans to establish a “market + product” dual-drive development model that uses PLM to respond rapidly throughout the business chain to shorten the R&D cycle, build core product competitiveness, and ultimately achieve its strategic goals.
