BlueCielo Meridian 2014 Suite is now available including BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise 2014, BlueCielo Meridian Explorer 2014, and BlueCielo Publisher 2014.
The 2014 release offers easy central deployment and global roll-out, with extended audit trails, seamless dashboard integrations and support for the latest (CAD) authoring applications.
BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise 2014
BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise is an Engineering Content Management and Collaboration software solution designed to optimise business processes related to the creation, collaboration, distribution and management of 2D and 3D CAD engineering data plus all other document formats. BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise creates the ultimate CAD-independent collaboration platform that connects people and links engineering content to the enterprise by leveraging design-related information – from different authoring systems, throughout the asset lifecycle.
BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise 2014 offers various enhancements for central deployment scenarios including Citrix and use of the authoring web access client, focused on handling plant modification engineering projects. To facilitate central deployment, use of 64bit server environments has been improved through the introduction of Hypertrieve 5 which improves the overall user experience of the system. Efficiency in global roll-out is improved though the combination of BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise, BlueCielo Meridian Explorer and the BlueCielo Publisher into a single setup with central user management and extended audit trail functionality.

BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise 2014 supports the latest versions of authoring applications including Microsoft Office, Autodesk 2015 family including AutoCAD, AutoCAD P&ID, Revit and Inventor, Bentley MicroStation and Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks and supports the latest MS Windows operating systems. BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise 2014 offers integration with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint 2013 through use of web parts.

BlueCielo Meridian Explorer 2014
BlueCielo Meridian Explorer provides a read-only search environment, which is easily integrated with maintenance management systems such as IBM Maximo and SAP EAM. The 2014 version provides “discussion” functionality, which can be stored within the combined audit trail with BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise for full proof of control. In addition, the 2014 version seamlessly integrates dashboards within the user interface.
BlueCielo Meridian Explorer is also available as an app.
BlueCielo Publisher 2014
BlueCielo Publisher offers the capability to render documents from various source content management systems, such as BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise and Microsoft SharePoint and publish them into the same or another destination system. In the new 2014 version, the BlueCielo Publisher supports the Autodesk 2015 family, Microsoft SharePoint 2013 (as well as MS SharePoint 2010) and provides easier cluster support.
Engineering collaboration in Microsoft SharePoint 2013
BlueCielo Meridian Project Portal 2014 is the only Microsoft SharePoint based portal that offers full collaboration with the entire supplier network without giving direct access to the internal master data and workflows. This guarantees data consistency and compliance while minimizing costs related to handover of critical engineering content.
BlueCielo Meridian Project Portal integrates seamlessly with BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise, allowing full document control, transmittal management functionality and distribution matrices support within a MS SharePoint environment, while project control is based on internal and external applicable regulations and procedures. BlueCielo Meridian Project Portal runs on Microsoft SharePoint 2013 (in addition to SharePoint 2010) both on-premises and hosted in Microsoft Azure for a hybrid cloud solution.
