Hangzhou Starpro Starch Co., Ltd. (Starpro), a leading edible modified starch manufacturer, has selected Centric Software’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution. Centric Software provides the most innovative enterprise solutions to plan, design, develop, source and sell products such as apparel, footwear, sporting goods, furniture, home décor, cosmetics, food & beverage and luxury to achieve strategic and operational digital transformation goals.
Starpro was established in Hangzhou, China in 2006, and is part of PMI Group. The company focuses on the research, development and innovative application of starch and starch derivatives. Customers include Master Kong, Pepsi, Dicos, General Mills, Kraft and Synear, located in China, Japan, Russia and other regions.
As Starpro experiences rapid growth, its product R&D department is facing challenges due to increasing projects, categories, customers, factories and personnel. Starpro decided to implement Centric Food and Beverage PLM to build an innovative R&D management platform, streamline team collaboration and operations management and support the future development of international business.

Starpro’s PLM project will be completed in two phases. The first phase will involve the construction of a basic platform and connection of product data, while the second phase will establish overall closed-loop data flows and comprehensive team collaboration.
