buildingSMART and CADENAS pursue a common goal, an international standard for BIM data that can be used in various systems. So far, the software company has mainly worked with the German chapter of the organization, but recently CADENAS has also become a member of buildingSMART Austria.

The Austrian sister subsidiary was founded in 2018. The association, which currently has eight working groups, is headed by Alfred Waschl, who serves as chairman of the board. For CADENAS, Key Account Manager eCATALOGsolutions Lukas Pinter is involved in the organization. As part of this activity, Lukas Pinter also participated in the BIM Globe 2023 on February 21 in Vienna. The event was initiated by buildingSMART Austria to promote the exchange on the status quo on the topic of BIM. The motto of the congress this year was "Reduce, Reuse, Repair and Recycle".
