US water treatment leader chooses IFS to drive efficiencies from depot to the doorstep

IFS, the global cloud enterprise software company, announced that Packard Culligan Water, a leading US-based water treatment company, has chosen to implement IFS Cloud™ enterprise resource planning (ERP) and service management with AI-powered scheduling optimization module. The solution will enable Packard Culligan to improve end-to-end processes, including inventory tracking, customer scheduling, material flow, and cost control from the depot to their customers’ doorsteps.

Implementing IFS Cloud ERP and service management in tandem will enable Packard Culligan to streamline service operations and enhance the productivity of field workers while AI-driven predictive analytics embedded in the service management software will ensure optimal resource scheduling to maximize business efficiencies. The water treatment company will also leverage IFS’s deep service industry expertise and its specialist services and support.

Additionally, the single data model for ERP in IFS Cloud will allow Packard Culligan to improve financial controls by achieving complete visibility of its finance, commerce, sales, inventory, stock, and supply chain processes. The company will see immediate benefits in its ability to access information relating to operational planning and forecasting as well as accuracy tracking.

Critically, the combination of ERP and service management with schedule optimization and dispatch capability will allow the company to further enhance customer service. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, Packard Culligan operates a network of dealers and franchises, ensuring personalized support and expert guidance for clients worldwide.

Derek Packard, President and CEO, of Packard Culligan Water, said: “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. By choosing IFS Cloud ERP and service management, we are confident this will enable us to keep prioritizing their needs. It will also allow us to work with our dealers to make smarter decisions in real-time to provide a seamless customer experience that exceeds expectations as well as overall efficiencies and that will underpin our growth plans.”

David Spencer, President North America, IFS, said: “Packard Culligan has established a strong reputation as a leader and innovator in the competitive water treatment sector. To maintain and build further on this reputation, they need to have full visibility into and control over their operations from a single platform, covering everything from finance to commerce; sales to inventory, stock and supply chain processes. We are looking forward to delivering this for them through our ERP, planning solutions, and support.”

Once fully implemented, IFS Cloud ERP and service management will support 905 users across a range of business functions, including finance, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, field service and delivery, customer support and sales.
