TECHNIA, the Virtual Twin Expert Partner, announced a change in leadership within the Euro Central region. Stepping aside from his role as Managing Director after 20 years in the company and 6 years as managing director, Rolf Wiedmann will support future growth at TECHNIA as a Senior Advisor from January 2024.
As of October 2023, Jens Potthoff is to be appointed Managing Director for TECHNIA GmbH, responsible for the Business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, and Poland. Jens Potthoff has been with TECHNIA since 1998.
Having studied Techno-Mathematics at KIT Karlsruhe, Jens went on to hold several management positions in Software Development at TECHNIA, working closely with Automotive OEMs in several software projects. For the last five years, Jens has admirably excelled in his role as Director of Services and Authorized Signatory within the DACH region.
Under Rolf’s leadership, TECHNIA GmbH achieved more than €70m in combined organic and acquisition-based annual revenue. A further commendation of Rolf’s tenure is the merger of DESYS Group with TECHNIA, strengthening the organization’s position as the Global Dassault Systèmes Partner.
Effective October 1st, Patrick Marga, Director of Sales for TECHNIA GmbH will take up the role of Authorized Signatory.
Together with Magnus Falkman, CEO and Martin Nölle, Director of Software and Global Services, Jens and Patrick will form the new Management Team for TECHNIA GmbH, operating within Central Europe.
