IFS, the global cloud enterprise software company, announced that IFS Cloud has received Type Approval from Det Norske Veritas (DNV). The Type Approval covers DNV rules for classification for ships and DNV class programme for Machinery Planned Maintenance System (MPMS). This significant milestone underscores IFS’ commitment to delivering robust solutions for customers operating offshore assets.
DNV is the world’s leading classification society and operates in more than 100 countries. One of its key business areas is to set the standards or ‘Class Rules’ for vessels and offshore structures for safety, reliability and environmental compliance which vessels operating in international waters must comply with.
